Take the Bus to NASCAR
What time should I be at the pickup location?
To ensure an on-time departure, you should check your ticket for the departure time and plan to arrive at least 30 minutes early before departure. The bus generally pulls into the designated pickup locations 15 minutes before the scheduled departure time. The bus will depart firmly at the time listed on your ticket.
Will there be parking near my Rally Point?
Rally offers curbside pickup from Rally Points, and nearby parking is not guaranteed. While we make an effort to choose Rally Points that have public parking available, we recommend riders consider being dropped off by a family member or friend, carpooling, or taking taxis/public transit. If you do park near your Rally Point, be sure to obey parking regulations and know that Rally cannot be liable if your vehicle is damaged, ticketed, or towed.
What if a bus comes late?
Rally strives to work with the best bus partners to minimize any incidents of bus delays. If, however, you should experience such a delay, our mobile app lets you track the location of your bus at any time on the day of the event. If the bus will be more than a few minutes late, you’ll receive a notification by email or text.
What can I bring on the bus?
Passengers are encouraged to bring any or all of the following items: neck pillows, MP3 players with earphones, eye shades, and foam ear plugs. Food and drink are permitted onboard but no glass containers.
Can I leave any items on the bus during the event?
Passengers may not be on the same bus on the return trip, please do not leave any items on the bus during the event.
How long will it take to get to the track?
Depending upon your pickup location and assuming clear road conditions, the trip usually takes about 1 - 3 hours; longer if there is heavy traffic.
Are restrooms provided on the bus?
Yes, each bus will have its own restroom at the rear of the bus.
Are there any stops on the way?
The plan is a direct route, but if there is a low turnout for one location, we may route to pick up at another location on the way.
Where will the buses park at the Race Track?
We will be parking the buses between Turn 9 terrace and Turn 7 terrace, in the bus parking area of the parking lot. They will be secured all day.
Who can I contact if I have any questions?
Call us with your questions toll free at 800-870-7223. We also highly recommend you download the Rally mobile app. It's free on the iTunes store and Google Play.
Are these tickets refundable?
Tickets are not refundable and credit will not be issued for unused portions of the trip.
What if I need wheelchair assistance?
Contact Sonoma Raceway at 800-870-7223 prior to the event to arrange for wheelchair accommodation. We strive to use buses that are accessible to everyone. If you need an ADA-compliant bus, please book early and notify our team of your needs. If you have a wheelchair but can board the bus without it, there’s plenty of room under each bus to store a folding wheelchair. If you’ll need to store something larger (like a non-adjustable wheelchair or scooter), please get in touch with us and we’ll do our best to make it work.
What is your policy on children? What age is considered an adult?
We love children! The minimum age to ride the bus is thirteen (13) unless accompanied by a guardian 18 or over. Children ages 4 and under who will be sitting on your lap do not require booked seats.
Are there Senior or Child discounts?
There is only one ticket price per seat that applies for all ages.
Can we pay cash at the pick up location?
Tickets for Rally are only available for purchase in advance through the ticketing website. No cash purchases will be allowed at the pick-up location.
What if I miss the bus?
Each departing and returning route has only one departure time so it is important that you do not miss the bus. If you do miss the bus you will be responsible for your own transportation back to the pickup location.
What time do the buses leave the racetrack?
Buses leave 30 minutes after the Toyota/Save Mart 350 checkered flag.
How will I know which bus to take back to my pickup location?
There will be colored flags indicating which shuttle to take back to your bus location. Please look for them when you arrive. It also may be faster to walk across the race track after the race to get to your bus pickup location in Turn 7 or Turn 9.
Should I tip the bus driver?
Yes please! Our drivers go the extra mile to make the trip almost as awesome as the event itself. If you appreciate their work — and we think you will — they’d certainly appreciate a small token of your thanks. You can tip in person or by using the Rally Rider app.
