Drivers of all experience levels were invited on February 3 to an exclusive autocross experience at Sonoma Raceway with all proceeds directly benefitting Sonoma County families and children in need through Speedway Children’s Charities (SCC) – Sonoma, the first of many SCC events in 2024.

With participants joining from all across Northern California, the event was able to raise a total of $10,000 for local Sonoma County children and families in need.

“It's always a great day when we're able to invite car enthusiasts and locals out to the track for some fun, particularly when we're all campaigning for the same cause and supporting children in need.” says Speedway Children’s Charities Sonoma Chapter Director Courtney Kiser.

The Sonoma chapter of Speedway Children’s Charities is one of ten located at Speedway Motorsports racing facilities across the country. Since inception in 1982, SCC has awarded in excess of $61 million to nonprofit organizations throughout the nation.
