SONOMA, Calif. (June 9, 2017) - Sonoma Raceway has teamed up with Vintage Wine Estates to bring the best of the Sonoma wine country to the track during the raceway's popular summer racing season.

Vintage Wine Estates, a privately held wine company owned by a group of vintner families, has been named the Official Wine Partner of Sonoma Raceway.

To bring the sponsorship to life, Viansa Sonoma, part of Vintage Wine Estates' collection of winery estates and brands, will serve as the presenting sponsor of the raceway's popular NASCAR Checkered Flag Club hospitality. Guests in the chalet will be treated to wine sampling from three local wineries during the Toyota/Save Mart 350, including Windsor Vineyards, BR Cohn and Viansa Sonoma.

Viansa Sonoma, located several miles north of the raceway, is situated on a dramatic overlook with extensive views of Sonoma Valley, a protected wetlands preserve, and the waters of the San Pablo Bay. The winery offers guests an array of wine tastings and culinary experiences. Viansa Sonoma will be a featured stop on the free round-trip shuttle from the 50 Acres Campground to the Sonoma Plaza during the Toyota/Save Mart 350 NASCAR race weekend. Provided by the Sonoma Valley Visitor's Bureau, this service gives campers a unique chance to enjoy local offerings.

"We're thrilled to partner with our neighbor, Sonoma Raceway, to extend Sonoma wine country hospitality to fans of professional motorsports", said Stephanie Peachey, Estate Director, Viansa Sonoma.
