The Sonoma Speed Festival is now accepting entry requests for the May 31-June 2, 2019 event at Sonoma Raceway, officials announced today.

Participants can go to: https://www.sonomaspeedfestival.com/entryrequest/ to submit a request for entry to become involved with what is aiming to be the must-attend event in 2019 and beyond.

Event owner, Jeff O'Neill, wants participants, partners and spectators to enjoy an extraordinary experience.

"This event will offer racers and spectators the chance to relive the Golden Age of racing. We want to have contemporary supercars, luxury cars, historic vehicles and unique cars all in a well-curated atmosphere," O'Neill said. "I'm a hobbyist car racer and so is Ryan (Turri, General Manager) and our goal is to invite quality car collections to the event and provide an entertainment aspect that has been missing from similar events."

"We want to showcase the evolution of the sport from the early 1920s all the way through contemporary cars. I want to provide an event where people want to showcase great cars that have originality and historical significance."

Event officials are sending out personalized invitations, making calls and spreading the word: It's time to bring out the best race cars, the unique vehicles people don't see on track anymore and the cars that truly turn heads. Entries are open until further notice.

The Sonoma Speed Festival is a Historic Motor Sports Association-sanctioned event and Cris Vandagriff will oversee on-track management.
