Sonoma Raceway is set to play host to the best in GT and Touring Car racing this Easter weekend, April 15th - 17th. The iconic 12-turn circuit set against the hills of California’s wine country will come to life with the roar of supercars on each one of its corners.

This highly anticipated season opener of the Fanatec GT World Challenge America powered by AWS prepares for a weekend with strong car counts like the all-new BMW M4 GT3 making its North America debut. The competition consists of 20 teams making up the Pro, Pro-Am, and Am championships.

In addition to hosting the event, Sonoma Raceway is also home to multiple SRO teams, including K-PAX Racing, Flying Lizard Motorsports, Stephen Cameron Racing, and The Racers Group. Each seeks to exploit its home track advantage with its clear, sunny skies and mid-70s temperatures, making for favorable track conditions all weekend long.

With a perfect weekend ahead, Sonoma Raceway will feature family-friendly activities for Easter Sunday. There will be an on-site Sunday morning religious service, Easter Bunny photos, Easter Egg hunts, and local car clubs supporting their favorite racecar manufacturers.

The weekend schedule, live timing and scoring, and session reports are available at gt-world-challenge-america.com. or by checking out the race live streams on YouTube (GTWorld) and Twitch (SROMotorsports).

Tickets to the event are still available, starting at just $10. Every general admission ticket allows you to get up close with the cars and stars of the series in our open paddock. In addition, kids 12 and under are admitted FREE. For more information, visit Sonoma Raceway website or call 800-870-7223.
