Ever dreamed of hitting the Sonoma Raceway road course during NASCAR weekend in your own car?  Now you can, all in the name of charity! Speedway Children's Charities will host Laps for Charity on Friday June 4, 2021.  Participants will take part in the first ever Laps for Charity during NASCAR weekend. This lead-and-follow session will consist of three spirited laps across the Start/Finish line and through the Carousel on the 12-turn, 2.52-mile road course. Participants and passengers must be 18 years of age to participate. Passengers must be from the same household (limited to 3 passengers – seatbelts required for each participant/passenger). NASCAR tickets are not required to run Laps For Charity on 6/4.

The event will be held with strict COVID-19 protocols in place, including social distancing and facial coverings.

Cost is $225 per car and all proceeds benefit the Sonoma Chapter of Speedway Children's Charities. There are 8 sessions available between 10:20 a.m. and 12:40 p.m. 

COVID RESTRICTIONS:

Due to COVID-19 precautions, and to ensure the safety of the participants and the local communities, access to Laps for Charity will be limited to raceway personnel, participants and passengers (limited to 3 from the same household – seatbelts required for each passenger) raceway personnel only. Participants and passengers must follow all raceway COVID-19 protocols while onsite, including social distancing, wearing a mask and frequent hand washing.

If you are displaying any flu-like symptoms, please do not attend the event. If you have been in close contact with anyone within 14 days of the event, displaying these symptoms or who has tested positive for the virus, please do not attend the event. The health and safety of everyone in attendance is our top priority.
