The long-awaited NASCAR race weekend in Sonoma is here, and it all starts today with the General Tire 200. Friday sets the tone with the ARCA Menards Series West race, where NASCAR’s up-and-coming stars battle it out on one of the most challenging road courses in the country. As the opening event of the weekend, fans can expect to feel all the excitement and energy that comes with NASCAR in Wine Country.

Whether you’re waking up in a trackside camper or just pulling into the track, here’s everything you need to know about today’s schedule:

Morning & Early Afternoon

  • 8 a.m. — Cup Series Hauler Parade (Open to trackside campers)
  • 10 a.m. — All Spectator Gates Open
  • 10 a.m. — Historic Trans Am Practice
  • 1 p.m. — ARCA Driver Autograph Session (Speedway Experience)

Main Event – General Tire 200

  • 3:20 p.m. — ARCA Driver Introductions
  • 3:30 p.m. — General Tire 200 ARCA Menards Series West race (64 laps, 127.36 miles)
  • 5:30 p.m. — Historic Trans Am race

Fans are encouraged to arrive early to beat the traffic and enjoy the Historic Trans Am practice where restored race cars from the golden era of American road-racing will be on track before their race at 5:30 p.m. Trackside campers can also set their alarms early to help us welcome the Cup Series haulers as they make their way down the Esses early Friday morning.
