Using Mobile Tickets With The Sonoma Raceway App

With paperless ticketing, you are able to enter through the gates without the need of a physical ticket. All ticketholders will now use the mobile Sonoma Raceway App, available free from the Apple App Store and Google Play Store. Once you log in, your digital tickets will be placed in your Sonoma Raceway account within the app. The ticket-taker will scan your tickets in the app when you arrive, and you’re in!

Please note: If you’ve purchased your tickets, you’ll receive an email confirmation when your tickets are ready for download. Please be patient while our ticket agents process all accounts.

Soft-sided coolers that do not exceed 14"x14"x14" are permitted. Foam or hard-sided coolers regardless of size are prohibited. 

  • Can I bring a golf cart or off-road vehicle?Can I bring a golf cart or off-road vehicle?Pedal-assist e-bikes are allowed in camping areas only (e-bikes must have pedal-assist capabilities, not pegs or foot rests). They may not be ridden to access seating areas or the Fan Zone. Pedal-assist e-bikes will not be allowed to cross Highway 121 from the GIECO 50 Acres Campground to the road course.
  • Street legal, licensed motorcycles with off-road or dual-sport tires are not allowed on raceway property. Only licensed motorcycles with street-only tires are allowed.

If any of these vehicles are brought to the raceway, you will be asked to impound the vehicle prior to parking in your camping space. Impound is located through Gate 6 in the GEICO 50 Acres Campground. If guests refuse to impound their vehicle, they will be turned away and not allowed to enter the facility.  Single-person electronic convenience vehicles, built specifically for guests with disabilities, are permitted. 

Impounded vehicles can be picked up Sunday after the race and on Monday morning.  Exact pick-up times will be provided when you arrive at the campground.  When picking up your impounded vehicle, you must arrive in your RV prepared to leave the campground.  You will not be allowed to return to your camping space.

Off-road motorcycles with valid license plates will be impounded for the weekend.  These are motorcycles that are clearly built for off-road activities with off-road, knobby tires.  Only licensed motorcycles built to drive on the street, with street-only tires, can enter the raceway.  If you have questions on whether your motorcycle can enter, please contact Maurice McGill at [email protected].

Gate 1 is open to all parking pass holders and Gate 7 is open for all FREE general admission parking.

Please have your digital tickets ready for scanning upon driving onto the raceway property. If you have a parking permit, it should be displayed on your rearview mirror. Once you are through the gate, you will be directed to general or permit parking.

Yes, we do our best to take good care of our guests with disabilities. Guests with ADA parking placards should enter through Gate 1, where they will be directed to designated parking areas. To use a handicap placard be sure to bring paperwork showing your name and placard number and a valid driver's license.

Make sure you are prepared to spend a comfortable day at the races. Our facility is a unique venue with changes in elevation, and the majority of the seat locations are not shaded. We recommend wearing comfortable, close-toed shoes, a hat and sunscreen and a jacket, as temperatures are cool in the morning and it can get breezy in the afternoon.

  • Your downloaded ticket to the Sonoma Raceway app, ready to be scanned at the gate.
  • A maximum of two bags per person that do not exceed 18"x18"x14" size. 
  • Ear protection is recommended.
  • A seat cushion is highly recommended for the concrete terrace seating in Turns 2, 3, 7 and 9.
  • Water (plastic bottles only) Snacks, if you wish.

Absolutely, we encourage it both before and after the races. If you plan on grilling, please use a propane gas grill only.

Only pets for seeing impaired guests or for other ADA purposes are allowed into the raceway. Pets are permitted in camping areas, but must remain on a leash or in a harness at all times.

Yes, you can find many choices to ease your hunger and quench your thirst at Sonoma Raceway. All concessions are cashless.

Motorcycle riders should enter through Gate 1 (main entrance). After passing through the gate, you will make a left turn up the hill to Lot 1.
