Sonoma Raceway is thrilled to announce the return of the NHRA Lucas Oil Drag Racing Series to its world-class drag strip on July 15-16, 2026, marking the event’s first appearance at the facility since 2020. The event will serve as the highlight of the NHRA Pacific Division schedule, bringing top Sportsman racers from across the region back to wine country for two days of thrilling side-by-side competition.
The event precedes the annual DENSO NHRA Sonoma Nationals event on July 17-19, 2026.
“We’re excited to welcome the NHRA Lucas Oil Drag Racing Series back to Sonoma,” said Brian Flynn, Executive Vice President & General Manager of Sonoma Raceway. “This event has always been a favorite for drag racers, and we can’t wait to see Sportsman drag racing return to our track as part of one of the most competitive divisions in the country.”
