Sonoma Raceway will host the GT World Challenge America Powered by AWS at its legendary 12-turn, 2.52-mile road course Friday, March 27 through Sunday, March 29, 2026, marking the opening round of the 2026 championship season.
The GT World Challenge America series represents the pinnacle of North American GT racing, featuring wheel-to-wheel competition from world-class professional and amateur drivers in GT3, GT2, GT4, Cup and Touring Car machinery.
Over three days, spectators will witness high-octane action as elite teams battle for championship points on Sonoma’s scenic road course. The centerpiece of the weekend is the GT World Challenge America feature race, showcasing endurance, strategy and pure speed — with supplemental excitement from five additional support series:
