SONOMA, Calif. (Dec. 1, 2016) — Only days remain to spread some holiday cheer this season by donating to Sonoma Raceway's 14th annual High-Powered Toy Drive.

All toys collected during the toy drive, which runs through Tuesday, Dec. 6, will be distributed to more than 250 children at the raceway's annual Race to the Holidays Christmas Party on Saturday, Dec. 10. All children are pre-registered for the party through one of six Sonoma Valley non-profit youth organizations. New, unwrapped toys and gifts for children from newborn to 12 years old are needed.

"I was really excited to come today," said six-year-old Oliver from Sonoma, who attended last year's holiday party at Sonoma Raceway. "I really wanted a Transformer and I got a Transformer. It was awesome."

Toys are being accepted at five Sonoma local locations, including: Sonoma Raceway (800-870-RACE, www.SonomaRaceway.com); Exchange Bank (707-938-8358); Schell-Vista Fire Department (707-938-2633); Sonoma Stompers Fan Shop (707-938-7277) and the Sonoma Valley Fire Department (707-996-2102).

Gundlach-Bundschu Winery will also support the toy drive at its Bacchus Holiday Bazaar this Saturday, Dec. 3 from 11 a.m.-4 p.m.  To make a kid's (and the guest's) holiday brighter, attendees who bring a new, unwrapped toy to the Bacchus Bazaar receive a complimentary glass of Gun Bun wine.
