Sonoma Raceway is proud to announce the return of the GT World Challenge America Powered by AWS, the premier North American GT series, to its legendary 12-turn road course on March 27–29, 2026.

The three-day event will feature two action-packed 90-minute doubleheader races, bringing together world-class drivers, top teams and the latest GT3, GT2, GT4 and Touring Car machinery. As part of the global GT World Challenge championship, the Sonoma weekend will showcase some of the most exciting and competitive sports car racing in the world.

In addition to the headlining GT World Challenge America series, fans will enjoy a full weekend of racing from GT America powered by AWS, Pirelli GT4 America and TC America powered by Skip Barber, Toyota GR Cup North America, and McLaren Trophy America. Together, these championships create a dynamic and diverse racing program that will provide fans with non-stop entertainment on and off the track.

Speaking of off the track, there’s tons of opportunities for fans to get up-close to the racing teams and drivers with autograph sessions and interactive fan zone displays throughout the property.

“We are thrilled to welcome GT World Challenge America back to Sonoma Raceway,” said Executive Vice President & General Manager Brian Flynn. “This series showcases the pinnacle of GT racing, and pairing it with our world-class road course creates an unforgettable experience for both fans and competitors.”
