For the first time, NHRA race fans can lock in incredible race-day experiences and collectibles in advance of the Toyota NHRA Sonoma Nationals race weekend with the Speedway Children's Charities (SCC) online charity auction.

The auction, which launches today, will feature over a dozen items, including meet & greet experiences with current NHRA drivers and legends, autographed collectibles and a custom engraved wine bottle. The online auction will be available at www.sccauctions.com from July 20-27 at noon (Pacific). The new format opens the auction to all race fans, including those who still need to purchase tickets for race weekend.

      All proceeds from the auction benefit the Sonoma chapter of SCC, the charitable arm of Sonoma Raceway, which is dedicated to helping children in need in Sonoma County and has distributed more than $5.1 million to qualified youth groups since 2001.       Another way to support Speedway Children's Charities during NHRA weekend is to purchase a ticket for the "Little Wheels, Big Fun Raffle" featuring great gifts for both the young and adult race fan! The raffle features a DYNACRAFT Surge 12 volt roadster (for ages 3 and up), as well as a gift certificate for one set of four Yokohama Geolander or Passenger tires. Raffle tickets sell for $1 each, 6 for $5, 13 for $10 and 27 for $20. Tickets can be purchased during race weekend at the Ticket Pit Stop located behind the Main Grandstand.
