Sonoma Raceway and the Classic Sports Racing Group (CSRG) are proud to announce that the CSRG Sears Point Challenge, held Oct. 3–5, 2026, raised more than $13,500 for Sonoma County families and children in need through Speedway Children’s Charities (SCC), Sonoma Chapter.
The Sears Point Challenge is CSRG’s signature event, drawing more than 250 vintage race car entries for a full three-day celebration of motorsports at Sonoma Raceway. The weekend featured practice and qualifying sessions, thrilling wheel-to-wheel racing, car club displays, vintage aircraft flyovers, and special guest race groups, including the Hoosier 2.5 B/C Sedan Challenge and the Club Wheelhouse Classic Cup.
A cornerstone of the event is CSRG’s charity rides program, which allows racers to give spectators and fans unforgettable on-track ride-along experiences in vintage race cars while raising funds for local children’s charities. Since the inaugural Charity Challenge in 2004, the program has generated more than $1 million for Sonoma County children’s organizations.
“The Sears Point Challenge continues to showcase the incredible generosity of the vintage racing community,” said Courtney Kiser, Director of Speedway Children’s Charities Sonoma Chapter. “This event is about more than historic cars and competition—it’s about coming together to support children and families in our local community.”
Funds raised during the 2026 CSRG Sears Point Challenge will directly benefit programs supported by Speedway Children’s Charities Sonoma, helping provide critical resources to children and families throughout Sonoma County.
