All You Need to Know About the Great Clips® West Coast Moto Jam
The top motorcycle road racers in the country will visit Sonoma for the Great Clips West Coast Moto Jam. It will be a doubleheader weekend, featuring two main events in the AMA Pro National Guard SuperBike, GoPro Daytona SportBike and Motorcycle-Superstore.com SuperSport divisions. The AMA Pro Vance & Hines XR1200 Series will host its main event on Sunday. Overall, there will be seven AMA Pro Road Racing main events featured throughout the weekend.
May 4-6. This is the third round of the 12-round series for 2012.
12-turn, 2.32-mile road course for all AMA Pro-sanctioned events.
AMA Pro SuperBike and Daytona SportBike main events will span 22 laps. SuperSport main events are 18 laps. The XR1200 race will be 11 laps.

Yamaha’s Josh Hayes continued his domination in the SuperBike class in 2011, winning his third straight race in Sonoma before being dethroned by Suzuki’s Tommy Hayden on Sunday of the doubleheader weekend. Hayes (Yamaha), a favorite entering Sonoma, has a six-point lead over Blake Young in the SuperBike class (116-110)… Triumph's Jason DiSalvo swept the doubleheader weekend in the Daytona SportBike class last year, while Honda’s Benny Solis swept both races in the SuperSport class. Martin Cardenas (Suzuki) leads the SportBike standings over Dane Westby (82-62)… Chris Fillmore won the first-ever XR1200 race in Sonoma…Discovery Bay’s Elena Myers became the first female in history to win an AMA Pro Road Race when she took the checkers in Sonoma in the SuperSport class in 2010. She also won the season opener in Daytona…. Ben Bostrom (Petaluma High graduate) will be riding in SuperBike for Jordan Motorsports in 2012… San Francisco native Jake Zemke will contest in the Daytona SportBike class aboard a Ducati…. Petaluma’s Tyler O’Hara (Pro Vance & Hines XR1200) rode his Harley-Davidson to a win at Road Atlanta after starting on the pole…. - Supermoto USA: Supermoto USA returns for the seventh consecutive year to the Infineon Raceway Karting Center with racing slated for Friday-Sunday.
- TTXGP North American Championship: Zero-carbon motorcycle racing comes to Sonoma for a third year with two feature races, one for the newly created Formula 75 class, as well as the premier Formula GP.
