The STP Wednesday Night Drags returned to the Infineon Raceway drag strip, Sept. 14.

Claiming class wins were STP Wednesday Night Drags regulars Brian Kam (Street), John Victorino (Comp Rod), Doug Love (Motorcycle), Marko Perivolaris (High School), Vince Cardinale (Gear Jammers) and Mark Chancey (Sport Street).

With the Division 7 Summit ET Bracket Drags finals just weeks away in Las Vegas, Infineon Raceway and NHRA Tech Inspector Paul Brandner will be doing a final ETI inspection next Wednesday at the track for all team members. It is recommended that all those who have not yet gone through the program should do so before going to the ET Finals to avoid problems.

Team Infineon Raceway has a full roster of drag racing competitors but anyone who has signed up and won't be participating should contact Georgia Seipel so that alternate arrangements can be made. Georgia can be reached at 707-938-8448 EXT 115 during regular business hours.

In addition to the STP Wednesday Night Drags action on Wednesday evenings at Infineon Raceway, fans can also take in Sonoma Drift competition in the main paddock area. Drifting is one of the newer forms of motorsports racing and exciting to watch as drivers attempt to test the skills while sliding sideways at high rates of speed over a tricky course.
