Rain dampened much of the on-track activity on Saturday at the Sonoma Historic Motorsports Festival at Infineon Raceway.

Practice/qualifying sessions were held for all 13 race groups, however many drivers elected not to take their one-of-a-kind racecars on track in wet conditions.

Sunday’s schedule has been adjusted to feature main events in all 13 race groups, beginning at 8:45 a.m. with Group 1A (1955-1962 GT Cars).  Nearly 400 historic race cars, ranging from Pre-World War I racers to 1980s muscle cars will be featured on track, with McLaren serving as the featured marque.

Fans will also enjoy the Wine Country Pavilion, which features wine and food samples from the Sonoma and Napa valleys. Admission to the pavilion is included with your event ticket.

Tickets for the Sonoma Historic Motorsports Festival are available for purchase at the gate on Sunday. Unused Saturday tickets will be honored on Sunday. For more information, visit infineonraceway.com or call 800-870-RACE (7223).
