Bay Area drivers claimed seven victories on Sunday at the Sonoma Historic Motorsports Festival at Sonoma Raceway.

Alamo's Jeff Abramson posted double-header victories for the second consecutive year, taking the checkers in both Group 2 (1955-1962 Production/GT under 2000cc) and Group 11 (1959-1966 Sports Racing Cars). Abramson led from wire to wire in both groups in his 1959 Morgan and 1966 Lotus, respectively.

Three drivers from Marin County also enjoyed victories, including San Rafael's Art Hebert (1963 Lola, Group 3, 1956-1963 Formula Cars), Sausalito's David Swig (1957 Monsterati, Group 4, 1955-1960 Sports Racing Cars) and Sausalito's Paddins Dowling (1930 Maserati, Group 8, Pre-1941 Sports & Touring Cars & 1925-1941 Racing Cars).

Other Bay Area winners on Sunday included Redwood City's Rob Manson (1952 Manning Special, Group 5, 1946-1955 Sports Racing & Production Cars), Santa Clara's Ken Epsman (1972 Javelin, Group 12, 1966-1972 Historic Trans-Am Cars) and Yountville's Steve Cook (1968 McLaren, Group 13, Historic Can-Am Cars).

Rounding out the race winners were Jeff Kline (Group 1, 1964 Ginetta G-4, La Jolla); Dan Luckow (Group 6, 1969 Mercury Cyclone, Bell Canyon); Peter Baljet (Group 7, 1990 Beretta, Duncan, BC); Noel Park (Group 9, 1958 Corvette, Rancho Palos Verdes); Ross Thompson (Group 10 and Group 14, 1964 Corvette, Phoenix); and Chris MacAllister (Group 15, 1972 Gulf Mirage, Indianapolis).
